On São Miguel, Azores, I worked as a whale-watching guide for 2 years where the daily trips brought some spectacular moments. Having a camera with me at all times allowed me to collect scientific data along with some nice pictures. More recently, I have started a PhD project on common dolphins where we more often encounter dolphins than whales, particularly my study species, common dolphins!

Azores underwater

In my free time when I go diving, free-diving, and snorkeling, and even on the boat, I take my GoPro with me (or borrow someone else's equipment) to capture interesting things underwater. As these shots are not high quality, they are being shared as slightly smaller thumbnails.
